There are loads of terrific games & apps to choose for your iPad, so we thought it would be a good idea to take a look at some of the best and most popular iPad games & apps to help you to find your very own favorites.

In no particular order (I have to put that because a) I keep changing my mind about which one is my absolute very favorite, and b) there’s lots of different criteria you can use when choosing the very best of anything, so I’m just trying to cover myself) . . .

Kindle iPad App – one of the most efficient book-readers for the iPad. The screen resolution is great, the touch screen makes life so simple and there are loads of other features which make the Kindle iPad app an absolute must have for bookworms everywhere. Click here for more info.

Dictionary iPad App – has more than 2 million words (wow, didn’t know there were that many words to think about), with not only definitions but also antonyms and synonyms and spelling suggestions (can come in extremely useful). No wonder the Dictionary iPad app is one of the best selling iPad apps of the year (plus it’s free).

Dead Space HD – this terrifying yet thrilling game of sci-fi survival has lost very little in it’s translation to the iPad, with lots of alien blasting to get your teeth into. The only question is . . . dare you play the game?

MetalStorm - the simplicity of the controls is probably part of the reason that this multiplayer flight simulator game is so popular. AutoCAD WS – this designers dream iPad app enables you to draw and edit your shapes using Ortho and Snap modes. Bento – makes keeping track of important stuff and organizing contacts, planning events and generally managing your life a piece of cake. No wonder Bento is one of the best selling iPad apps.

Hungry Shark – if you weren’t afraid to go into the water before, you certainly will be after playing this action packed game. Your shark has to keep on munching to get bigger – it’s pretty addictive but not for the faint hearted. Click here to find out more.
